This is based on the same basic principle as seed-time and harvest. The words you speak are seeds that produce after their kind. Just as sure as they are planted, you can be equally sure a harvest will follow.

Faith talks. When faith talks, it talks faith, not fear and unbelief.

What would happen if Jesus walked down the aisles of your church and laid His hands on you and said, “It will come to pass that after I lay my hands on you, everything you say will happen just as you say it?”

Half the congregation would probably jump up and say, “That just tickles me to death!”

The enemy has so programmed the minds of people until instead of resisting him, they have just sort of buddied up with him and begun to speak his language.

This is the main reason the poor get poorer and the rich get richer. The poor speak their problems and their fear and doubt in achieving more stops them from ever achieving anything. There is always an excuse and a reason why they can not do what it takes to break through. Whether it is lack of money, lack of transportation, lack of skills, lack of education, lack of opportunity, they speak of that lack and that is what they believe in their heart and it is what they receive by fact of spiritual law.

The rich on the other hand have an attitude of abundance and prosperity and believe that anything can be done, and they have the resources to do it and they take the action with the belief in their heart that what they were sowing will reap rewards.

Is it not time we started changing the words that we speak? If we know that our words  produce after their kind, there should be no corrupt speech to come out of our mouths, only that which is good to edifying.

Too many of us give up once we hit a road block and things don’t go the way we had hoped.  Attitude is everything. If you quit every time you stumble, you will never accomplish anything great. You will be working a JOB for someone else your whole life.

God revealed this truth thousands of years before psychologists did. Behind everything you do is a thought, so in order to change your life, you must first change your autopilot.

Every behavior is motivated by a belief and every action is prompted by attitude.

Imagine traveling on a boat with an automatic pilot set to east. If you decide to reverse and head west, there are two ways you can do that. The first, is grab the steering wheel and forcibly change the direction. The problem with this is that you will eventually get tired and give up, only for the boat to head east again.

This is what happens when you try to change your life with willpower. You say, “I’ll eat less…exercise more…quit procrastinating and get organized…put more time into my business.” This willpower can produce short-term results, but there is a constant resistance because you haven’t dealt with the root cause.

There is a better and easier way…Change your autopilot by changing the way you think. Change always starts in your mind first. The way you think determines the way you feel, the way you feel determines the way you act.

The first way to do this is to stop thinking immature thoughts, which are self-centered and self-seeking. Babies by nature are selfish. They think only of themselves and their own needs. They are incapable of giving; they can only receive. Unfortunately, many people in business never get beyond this stage of thinking and are greedy and self-serving. They do not give, they only want to receive.

You must start thinking more maturely, which focuses on others and their needs. The apostle Paul says, “When I was a child, I thought like a child, I talked like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish things behind me.”

Are you still running your business like a child? Are you putting others first or do you still have immature selfish thoughts?
