Quickly write down the names of the ten people you are most involved with in your life.

That may be friends, family, co-workers etc.

Write them down the page in a list.

Now, by each one of them, write down the amount of money they make in a year.

When you have done that, average them all by adding up the total and divide by 10.

Whatever the result is will be a pretty good indicator of the amount of money YOU make in a year.

The reason. You are a product of your environment.

If you want to change the amount of money you make, you need to change the people you associate with.

But, the better news is, you are only a product of your environment because you want to be. You are completely in control of your own thoughts, so you are completely to blame for the situation you are in.

If the people you associate with are getting you down and killing your dreams, you need to seriously evaluate those relationships and see if they are good for you. Do they have your best interests at heart, or are they stuck in a poverty mentality with no ambition to get out to bigger and better things?

In order to change your financial thermostat, you need to associate with people who make the kind of money you want to be making. That might be hard at first, but you need to find yourself a mentor and leader who will be able to coach you and introduce you to a better way and higher mindset.

You are completely in control of your own thoughts, therefore you can completely change the situation you are in right now. No-one is going to do it for you, but if you can find a mentor to teach you the right mindset and marketing plan, your mission can be accomplished with little more than passion and focused action.

Always give much more than you get.

This is a simple concept, but one that works to build wealth and success beyond your wildest imagination.

When you have the heart to give and keep giving, without expecting something back in return, you will never have to worry about money again.

It is easier to become wealth as it is to do well. When you focus on how much money you are making and put all your time and effort into making more money, you will find you become a slave to your job. You may end up making a lot of money, but at what expense? Will your kids have a relationship with you? Or will they have grown up and gone without getting to know their father or mother? Will you leave a legacy when all is said and done? Will you be remembered for all the money you made?

The fact is, no. You will not be remembered unless you make a difference in people’s lives. The way you do that is by giving with love and forming relationships with people you come in contact with. Money means nothing if you cannot use it to bless someone. You can’t take it with you when you are gone, but you can use it to form relationships with those who go before you so that you will get a warm welcome when you make it to heaven.

So love giving. There is so much joy in it that you cannot get from anything else. Make it a habit. Never worry about what you are going to receive, for that is all taken care of. Focus on how you can change lives and be the difference and bring happiness to others. There is no amount of  money in the world that can produce the feeling you get when you help others. It is like a drug, once you start, you will never want to stop. But, that is a good thing.

One of the biggest problems with home business entrepreneurs is having Faith and belief in what they are doing. Most try a few things to market their opportunity and hope they work, but it is the belief that makes it work.

You must believe in what you are doing. Sow your seed and expect to reap your reward. A classic illstartion comes from the bible in Mark 9 where a father brings his boy to Christ to be healed. Jesus says,”I can heal your son. If you will believe. I will heal him.” The father then says, “Lord, I do believe. Help me overcome my unbelief.” Have you ever felt like that? You know what you are doing is right, but yu are not sure if you will get the results you are after.

This is a problem with unbelief and doubt which is a killer of dreams.

Yet despite his doubts the father asked Jesus to heal his son and got what he asked for. You see, it only takes a little faith when your faith is in God. The faith of a mustard seed can move mountains if only you will believe in your heart that your God will grant your wishes.

Next time you present a project, try to close a sale, or get that contract you have been waiting for. Expect that you are going to succeed and have faith that God will provide according to His riches in glory. A Little Faith+ A Big God= Huge Results.

You take your little faith, “Lord, I believe. Help me with my unbelief.” You place your faith in our big God and He will show you how He works out big results.

What is the law of the sponge?

The law of the sponge absorbs all that is around it. Whether good or bad, it does not matter. It is going to absorb it all.

The sponge is like your brain. It absorbs everything around it. Whether conscious or subconscious, the things we put in our head and in our heart determine who we are and how we act.

You can tell what a person is like in their heart if you listen to the words that come out of their mouth.

If they surround themselves with negatives thoughts of fear and unbelief, you will hear it in their speech.

Like a sponge that is squeezed when a little pressure is applied, what comes out is what has been absorbed previously. Therefore if you fill that sponge with fear and unbelief, then what comes out is fear and unbelief in the form of failure. If you fill that sponge with belief and optimism, then when pressure is applied, you get belief and optimism in the form of success.

What do you spend your time absorbing? Do you watch the fear filled news? Do you watch garbage on television like “Housewives of Atlanta”, or “MTV”? Remember, it’s garbage in, garbage out. Whatever you absorb, is what will come out of you when squeezed.

What about your children? What are they watching and listening too? What aspirations do you have for them and does their tv, radio, music life go along with your aspirations for them?

Now look at your business. What do you want out of that? Do you spend your spare time putting junk into your mind or are you filling your mind with things that are going to help you with your business?

You will find all top earners spend their time learning and training and not watching tv. They immerse themselves in filling their sponge with new information that will help their business.

Do you have the desired results from your business? Are you happy with the results you are getting? Are you making all the money you want to make? If not, look at how you are spending your time. What are you absorbing into your life and business? Have you given your business the quality training and upkeep it requires to produce the kind of salary you want?

You absorb everything around you whether you are aware of it or not and it all gets sucked up in your brain. The more good you absorb, the better you become. The more junk you absorb, the worse you become.

If you need to change the way you behave for the better, then you need to squeeze that sponge as hard as you can until no more thoughts of unbelief and doubt are in it and then fill it up will belief and success. Only then, will you get the desired results from your business when you are motivated to learn new things and take action.
