In All Labor There Is Profit

In all labor there is profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty. Proverbs 14:23

There is nothing going to happen for your business if you are not taking daily action toward your goals. Talking about what you are going to do, or thinking about what you are going to do is not going to work.

It is fine to get training and it is vitally important to keep up with new techniques and learn new skills, but if you are not going to apply them to your business, all the education in the world is useless.

Are you caught in the information highway and can’t seem to get off and get things done? Does your paycheck reflect your thoughts or your actions?

Think and grow rich is a great title for Napoleon Hill’s book, but nothing happens without persistent action.

Stop reading this blog post and go and get something done today. Just do it!!!

Charles Capps, in his book ‘ God’s Creative Power Will Work For You‘ has listed a few scriptures to do with wealth and prosperity that you need to start each day out in the right frame of mind for being successful in your business.

Proverbs 4:20-22, “attend to my words… they are life…and health (medicine) to all their flesh.

In the second chapter of this powerful book, God’s Word Is Medicine, Charles states, God’s Word ministers to the total man. His Word (Jesus) is our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption.

Most people have used the words of their mouth to hold them in bondage. But as you begin to speak the Word of God from the heart, it will produce liberty. It will produce the health and healing the Word said it would.

Most people have spoken contrary to the Word. They have spoken things that the devil has said. They have quoted what the enemy has said about them. Therefore, they have established on earth the words the enemy has spoken.

If we will begin to establish the things God said, and establish His Word on this earth, then thank God! we’ll rise to a new level of faith.

We will walk in the level of life where we release the ability of God by the words of our mouth. We can release the ability of God within ourselves by the words of our mouth and cause His Word and His power to become available to us.

Let’s learn to take God’s medicine daily.

For material needs, confess these three times a day until they are manifest.

Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law. Christ has redeemed me from poverty, Christ has redeemed me from sickness, Christ has redeemed me from spiritual death (Galatians 3:13; Deuteronomy 28).

For poverty He has given me wealth, for sickness He has given me health, for death He has given me eternal life (2 Corinthians 8:9; Isaiah 53:5-6;John10:10;John 5:24).

It is true unto me according to the Word Of God (Psalms 119:25).

I delight myself in the Lord and He gives me the desires of my heart (Psalms 37:4).

I have given and it is given unto me good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, men give unto my bosom (Luke 6:38)
With what measure I mete, it is measured unto me. I sow bountifully, therefore i reap bountifully. I give cheerfully, and My God has made all grace abound toward me and I have all sufficiency of all things- do abound to all good works (2 Corinthians 9:6-8).

There is no lack for my God supplieth all of my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19)

The Lord is my shepherd and I DO NOT WANT . Jesus was made poor, that I through His poverty might have abundance. For He came that i might have life and have it more abundantly (Psalms 23: 1; 2 Corinthians 8:9; John 10:10).

I, having received abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness do reign as a king in life by Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17).

The Lord has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant, and Abraham’s blessings are mine (Psalms 35:27; Galatians 3:14).

If you have not tried speaking the Word of God, you need to try it. Tell Him what you want and ask for His blessings in your business and every area of your life. Most people speak their problems and NEVER ask God’s blessings. Start speaking what you want and see how God will bless His servants.

It has worked for me. Praise God!

8 Principles To Live by…

Good planning and insight… bring… you honor and respect.

Proverbs 3:21-22 NLT

People who set goals accomplish much more than people of equal education and ability who don’t. With that in mind, build these eight principles into your life.

(1) Decide what you want. But first consult God. Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails (Pr 19:21 NIV).

(2) Think on paper. Writing your goals down gives them a sense of permanency, plus it energizes you. Good planning and insight… bring…you honor and respect. Wishy-washy objectives won’t get you where you want to go.

(3) Establish a deadline. Without a definite beginning and ending it’s easy to procrastinate and get nowhere.

(4) Make a list of what you need to do to. Keep it before you at all times; it’ll give you a track to run on.

(5) Convert your list to a plan. Decide what you need to do first and what you can do later. An organized plan is always better than trying to carry stuff around in your head.

(6) Act immediately. Be very careful, then, how you live,  not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity (Eph 5:15-16 NIV). Do something! A mediocre plan that’s implemented beats a brilliant one that’s not.

(7) Do something every day to move you forward. Build it into your schedule. For example, read systematically through your Bible, call a specific number of clients, engage in physical activity for a given time.

(8) Have a goal you’re willing to devote your life to. And keep your eye on that goal at all times. Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom (Ps 90:12 NIV).

What On Earth Am I Here For?

A life devoted to things is a dead life, a stump; a God-shaped life is a flourishing tree. Proverbs 11:28

What do you devote your life to? Is it your job, your hobbies, t.v., your spouse, your family?

While some of these are important, there is nothing more important than your devotion to your creator.

In spite of all the advertising around you, how can you remind yourself that life is really about living for God, not yourself?
